The Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice (Industry Code and Consumer Code) are binding on all Members of Live Performance Australia (LPA) in respect to their participation in the Australian live performance industry.
An independently appointed Code Reviewer is responsible for monitoring the level of compliance with the Codes (including complaints from Members and members of the public) and preparing, in consultation with LPA, a report on compliance generally by Members with the Codes. The latest review was completed on 28 June 2017, concerning the 24 month period between 1 Jan 2015 and 31 Dec 2016.
Findings of the Review can be found in the Biennial Review of the Ticketing Code of Practice Report 2017.
LPA offers practical information to help production companies, tours, venues and events become more energy efficient.
LPA provides Members with support in regards to the preparation of applications for the Subclass 408 Temporary Activity Visa to import overseas artists and associated personnel into Australia.
